Larry F's third album is basically a love story. And perhaps it is due to the subject matter that the singer and rapper lets us look deeper than ever before. After all, openness and honesty are propagated as maxims of functioning relationships... It's personal, and yet it's easy to identify with it. Because we've all loved before. With all the madness that goes with it. In 13 songs, Larry F recapitulates what has driven him in recent years. His remarks bubble over with linguistic sophistication, originality and wordplay. Sometimes he uses soft tones, sometimes he spits out big words. They are carried by music that ranges from dreamy melodies to pompous musical gestures, from atmospheric soundscapes to rhythmic-harmonic ecstasy, from rushing ballads to frenzied rides. Larry F and his producer and long-time companion Michael Schertenleib have taken their time with their third album. They were in the studio in Zurich's Niederdorf and disappeared for three winter months to the snow-covered Grisons mountain village of Pigniu. They worked intensively for days, weeks and months and then took time out. Afterwards, they listened to what they had created with fresh ears, deconstructed it and rebuilt it until it really fit. They also worked with various guest musicians (vocals, guitar, piano, drums, violin, accordion), who gave the sound a more organic, dynamic and dynamic quality.
You can hear all that.It was all worth it.Following the release of "Ufojugend" in 2009 and "Irgendöppis mit 2000" in 2014, "Solang die Musig lauft" was released in 2022. It is Larry F.'s most mature and sophisticated album.
