Elimako used to close the windows and doors when making music, singing and playing in hushed tones. That has changed—but her songs still carry a quiet, almost shy beauty.
After gaining attention with cover versions on TikTok, the Bamberg-born artist released her first German single, atlantik, in 2024. The melancholic, minimalist track tells the story of trying to recover something lost—while knowing it’s already gone.
"The song is about two people growing in different directions until one realizes they no longer fit together," Elimako explains. Ethereal keys and driving drums reflect this inner conflict—caught between closeness and distance, movement and resignation, and the realization that loss can sometimes be the right path.
Combining delicate nuances with distinctive DIY production, Elimako crafts intimate and deeply moving snapshots of emotion.
Her blend of elegiac indie, German pop, and hip-hop—topped with a unique voice that she experiments with in both striking distortions and pure a cappella performances—quickly captured the attention of tastemakers and the German music scene. Acts like Blumengarten, Levin Liam, ENNIO, JEREMIAS, and OK KID brought her on as a support act, introducing her to a wider audience.
Following playlist placements on Wilde Herzen and me right now as well as features from Amazon Music, DIFFUS, and MTV Push, the rising artist released her 8 stufen EP in September 2024. The focus track, pokémon, was produced in collaboration with Sophia Butzinger.
The five songs on her debut EP emerged from a deeply personal process—exploring desire, infatuation, drifting relationships, and mismatched needs. At its core is the question: Does time really heal all wounds? “It’s painful to realize a relationship no longer fits—even when you fight against it,” Elimako says about pokémon.
Ahead of the release, she played three pre-release shows in Munich, Cologne, and Berlin and appeared at the Reeperbahn Festival 2025 in Hamburg. In October 2025, Elimako embarks on her first headlining tour, the in einem Jahr Tour, spanning nine cities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
