Ina Bredehorn’s musical journey as Deine Cousine began with a radical new start: leaving behind her former career as a master industrial mechanic in a small village in Lower Saxony and taking the leap to Hamburg’s Kiez district, where she dedicated herself uncompromisingly to music. In a rock scene that is still strongly male-dominated, she carved out her place with perseverance, independence and a clear attitude, working her way step by step into the top tier of the German rock landscape.

Today, Deine Cousine has become a fixture in the line-ups of major German festivals.
