Ipsum offers a techno-line up with sets mixed by DJs, who made a huge impact in this genre. Marcel Dettmann, who started his career in the mid 90’s in Frankfurt, is one of them: In 1999 the Berlin based club Ostgut (now Berghain) offered him a residency and from this point Dettmann’s rise was unstoppable. Dettmann has released on well known labels like 50 Weapons and on his own imprint MDR (Marcel Dettmann Records). As a passionate dj and one of Berghain’s faces Marcel Dettmann loves to excite his crowd with raw, reduced, emotional and surprising sets. This artist knows how to navigate between puristic techno, Chicago-tracks, old and new stuff.
