Hand on heart: What was your soundtrack in the 1990s? That decade had so much to offer, and no matter what you listened to, some anthems stay etched in memory forever. We remember the extremely cool Coolio and entered his "Gangsta's Paradise." There was scream-worthy excitement when the boy bands hit the stage, like the Backstreet Boys. Then, of course, there was Britney Spears, urging us on with "Baby One More Time." And who can forget the breakneck flow in Scatman John's voice? Much mimicked at karaoke among friends, always leading to a bit of embarrassment because the lyrics just didn't quite flow, and the dance beats always seemed a bit too fast (or slow?).

We first heard these sounds on good old cassette tapes (which, by the way, are currently experiencing a bit of a revival). Then came CDs and along with them, the Discman. And with them, sometimes annoying experiences. Remember those times before MP3s and streams when the CD skipped? Especially when you left it lying in the sun or accidentally scratched it while lying around.

But never mind! Soon, the next silver disc joined the collection, inspired by stories in the good old "BRAVO" magazine (which celebrity poster did you have at home?). Also typical of the '90s: those long evenings with GZSZ (a popular German soap opera).

All these memories come flooding back when the 90s party is announced at X-TRA and hits from that era play cassette after cassette. And that's a good thing because reminiscing is, after all, a beautiful thing. By the way, anyone who wants can bring along gadgets from back then – tinted sunglasses included.

So, put aside the Game Boy and come on a time travel with your friends. We joyfully present to you: The ultimate 90s party!

The 90s party for those 22 and up. Totally epic.
