He is just 19 years old, winner of the small Prix Walo and on the verge of a promising music career. Zurich newcomer Jared Lembo has just released his first pop single "Counting Days". In the studio of hit producer HSA, he has created a rousing, modern pop-rock song about the longing to finally fall in love for the first time. Jared Lembo only has music on his mind. And this despite the fact that until recently he was still a young talent on the pitch at FC Zurich.

In "Counting Days", the 19-year-old deals with a deeply personal topic - the difficulty of never having been in a relationship while all his friends are falling in love. The remarkable thing about it: with an open and honest nonchalance and coolness, Jared combines contemporary pop sounds with live drums reminiscent of the soundtrack of series such as "The O.C." or "Californication". In this way, he entices the pop-loving youth of today, as well as the high school/soft rock-loving 2000s youth of yesteryear.
