When Alex Stephens (a.k.a. Strawberry Guy) self-released his debut single in 2018, he did so purely for the love of songwriting. What he hadn't counted on were millions of streams and an enthusiastic global fanbase. 

A one-man impressionist who paints majestic soundscapes, Strawberry Guy blends truthful lyrics with lush arrangements to create new emotional worlds. Inspired by Romantic composers or Debussy, Ravel and other classical artists of the 1800s, his wonderland moves like a Monet painting, where arpeggios move between meadows of dazzling dynamics and dramatic key changes. He mimics the effect of nature on the emotions, like the songwriters of the 1970s, or the fantastical soundtracks that accompany the vivid scenes in Japanese Studio Ghibli animated films movies and video games, the landscape is brought to the fore.
